This girl is cut! And she is lifting heavy!  Look at those abs!

Lifting mod to heavy weight for lower reps is great for bone and muscle strength, function, a lean look and a host of other benefits!   

Go get em girls!

    I LOVE strength training. Nothing feels better than feeling strong, and the best way to feel strong is to BE strong! I lift heavy (granted — not THAT heavy) and I love every moment of it. I can watch my muscles grow and become more shapely. And pushups! It’s like my latest party trick. I can do “big girl” pushups, as I call them.

    If only there was a way to eliminate cardio, I’d be a happy camper. 🙂

    You CAN eliminate cardio. I dont do any cardio ever and maintain a lean muscular look. You need to investigate high intensity interval training and I would suggest checking Allwyn Cosgroves afterburn program/concepts or his wifes book The New Rules of Weightlifting for Women.
